Course description and benefits
This two-week course will enable participants to learn techniques of managing all aspects of crisis communication, in order to effectively defend one’s reputation. Participants will be guided through the overriding process and phases of crisis management, including pre-crisis, crisis response, and post-crisis, and the functions of PR manager or personnel in dealing with same. A realistic crisis preparation session and response model will be featured.

Course format
The course is a combination of classroom time, virtual learning and learning workshops and seminars, as well as site visits. Classroom sessions are intensive and participative and will include a variety of approaches including lectures, group discussions, presentations and practical exercises. A number of guest lecturers will also make presentations, aiding the overall learning experience.
